About Chloe…

Chloe was born on October 19th, 1984 in the city of Vannes, France. Her family lived in a quiet neighborhood and she enjoyed growing up with her younger brother and sister. Chloe was a very energetic child, rapidly branching out into different areas of study while remaining very active. She competed in the French gymnastic national championships, played the flute in concert halls, and attended a specialized school where sports and Spanish were an integral part of the schooling program (in addition to the already scholastically demanding French program).

When Chloe was 15 years old, her father was offered a job in San Francisco, California, and brought the whole family with him to the United States to start a new life. In following years, she would meet Brendan and they would begin climbing together first as climbing partners, friends and eventually build a long lasting relationship together.

Despite having the option of returning to France for college, Chloe eventually decided to pursue Nursing studies through San Francisco State University. Through her college years, she would grow as a climber traveling near and far with Brendan and embarking on many varied adventures.

After completion of her B.S. in Nursing, Chloe moved out to Glenwood Springs, Colorado, in an effort to be closer to the outdoors and more climbing. She started her first nursing job in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in Grand Junction, Colorado. During this time she would spend her summers climbing in Rifle Mountain Park, and also working as a ski patroller on the local ski mountain (with her husband Brendan) in the winter.

She soon moved down to Boulder and took a job as an Emergency Room Nurse in a busy emergency room in Downtown Denver. She would continue to ski, climb and run while establishing herself as a knowledgeable, respected and well rounded critical care nurse. She gave birth to two wonderful boys: Sky in 2010 and Tao in 2012. She continued to be very active throughout both of her pregnancies, still climbing, running and traveling.

Chloe currently lives in Boulder, Colorado with her two sons and husband. She works night shifts in the ER in downtown Denver as well as for Critical Care Transport (transporting the sickest individuals between hospitals). When not working, Chloe is climbing, running and traveling with her family.
